Week 7

Well we had to leave the Goldie (bugger) but we are now off to the Glasshouse Mountains - Beerwah to be exact, its only a small town but very central for this area. This is some of the Glasshouse Mountains.

We drove down to Bribie Island, the weather was average as you can see but still a nice enough day for a look around.
Looks like a boat wreck in the background?

This is a view of the Glasshouse Mountains from Bribie Island (again - if the weather was better)

We visited Australia Zoo "Crikey" it was pretty good and not too expensive (but we don't have kids) The "Wildlife Warriors" show was really good - the free flight birds were tops.

This Gator looked quite angry, click on the photo and look into his eyes.

Another "Big Thing" for Shell, well it is the biggest croc I've ever seen.

Fiona about to lose a finger.

Wombat walkin time, don't see that every day.

 Tassie Devils having a play.

This Dingo was having a sleep on this rock but we couldn't see how it got up there? Nice effort.

This was a pretty big croc.

Otters, Otters are awesome, you have to see these guy's (and gal's) at feeding time, they go off.....

One big snake, I reckon it was rounder than a football.

Red Panda's are cool too, this one was having a ball.

One cool statue, we would just need a bigger yard to put it in.

 Big cats.............

 Who needs a guard dog.

Koalas, hard to find one awake.

But some of them had the right idea, just kickin back.....

 more wombats.

Fast cat, well it could be.

Check out the little Rhino, and the big ones are big.

Week 6

Check it out, we have a whole week at Noddy & Mary-ann's at Coombabah (very top end of the GoldCoast, next to Paradise Point) This is the view from the front yard, not a bad spot to camp for a week.

This is Sledge.
Sledge is Jessie's son, he was the only boy, but he has 3 sisters. He looks more like his dad then Jessie.

They still get along very well as you can see.

Love it.

Noddy took us fishing on his boat.
Again I forgot to invite the fish.............Dam it.
The girls had a win though, Mary-ann caught 2 flathead n a bream, and Fiona got a flathead = Girls 4 - Boys 0.

Unwanted project - this McMansion is huge and yes its a house not a Hotel. Looks like they ran out of money? Poor buggers - it would be nice to have a quarter of what that cost.

Again - nice spot.

Sunset with the moon, kinda cool.
