Week2.2

This ones for "NODDY"  Hey buddy..

 This is the view from our front yard at Yamba, not bad at all. We drove down from the sunny coast on Wednesday. We had a good run down the motorway but it turns to shit after Ballina - so much for the main highway in Australia ( go #1 - NOT ) I thought our roads were bad in CQ.

 The sunsets were awesome - kinda warm n fuzzy.

 Just letting you know we are doing it hard, the home made prawn & scallop kababs were great, with some fresh pineapple, capsicum, red onion and a couple marinated in soy and worcestershire sauce.....I want more.

 Along the river at the van part were lots of these huge water lizards, some up to a couple of foot, they were kinda cool as they spent most of the day chasing each other in and out of the water.

 Here are some shots of the coast at Yamba. It is a nice quite spot.

We drove around (over) the river to Iluka, not much going on, just a lot of state forest. We went for a drive up 10 mile beach and came across a quite sick sea turtle. We didn't know what to do with the poor bugger - put him back in the surf or what? So best bet was to call the local wildlife guys, they were really nice and said they would send someone to pick it up and take it to the proper people to look after it.
